About Us
At The Fifth Wall: Theatre Company, we are a youth-led youth mental health-focused organization that strives as a company to produce theatrical productions at the highest possible standard. We hope through our work to contribute monetarily and vocally to building the support systems for youth facing mental health challenges in our community. We also strive to provide youth with the opportunity to experience theatre without the potential stigmas that are commonly imposed on youth in the industry. Allowing for youth to have an enriching and elevating experience in the world of theatre.
Core Values
Inclusion
The word inclusion means “The action or state of including or of being included within a group or structure.” But to us it means much more. Inclusion means to ignore discrimination and embrace diversity. Inclusion is to accept all differences and quirks, to see the light within each person and to assist all in their own journeys of nurturing and expressing that individual light. Inclusion is to be unified within the one true goal of inclusion, expression, and resilience.
Expression
Expression is the process of making known one's thoughts or feelings. In a theatre setting, everyone is free to express each emotion or thought. We strive to give any and all people the opportunity to express that which makes them who they are. Theatre is the perfect gateway to high self esteem and self love. Through theatre those who learn to express themselves will find these virtues. Everyone deserves a voice, a chance to shine, and a chance to express.

Resilience
The action of resilience is the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness. We believe that the most impactful and meaningful learnings appear when a door closes. At The Fifth Wall we strive to help individuals when a door closes to be able to be in a place where they are able to see the glimmers of light from all of the new windows of opportunity opening around them.
Our Story
The Fifth Wall: Theatre Company was born from a shared passion for performance and a deep understanding of youth mental health challenges. Created by Kyle McEachern and Phoenix Harding, The Fifth Wall unites a love of theatre with a mission to make a considerable difference in the lives of young people. As a youth-led organization, we create a space where creativity and compassion meet—where art becomes a form of advocacy. Through our productions, we aim not only to inspire audiences but also to raise awareness and monetary support for youth mental health programs within our community. At The Fifth Wall, we believe theatre has the power to heal, connect, and give voice to those who need to be heard. Our story is still being written—on every stage, in every performance, and through every young artist who joins us in breaking down the walls that stand between art and impact.
