Phoenix Harding

Phoenix Harding is the executive producer and Co-Owner of The Fifth Wall: Theatre company. With well over half a decade of involvement in theatre, Phoenix is taking the experience and lessons with him on this new journey. He has appeared onstage in numerous productions, including: Newsies as Jack, Les Miserable as Lesgles, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child as Ron Weasley, and more. He has worked behind the scenes in various productions as well, including: backstage crew for Evil Dead the musical, Spotlight operator for Amadeus, and executive producer for a youth-led independent production of Into the Woods.

 

Throughout Phoenix’s theatre productions, he has learned the importance of community and safe accepting passion driven places. Theatre can give young people confidence, voice, and creativity. In taking the next steps, he hopes to strive towards a company that not only appreciates everyone, but advocates for them as well. During his time in middle school and high school, he has witnessed his friends and peers struggles with mental health, as well as his own. While mental health struggles are extremely common and prominent in youth lives, there are few initiatives directly dedicated to youth mental health. He hopes that through this company he can inflict change and inspire the focus that youth mental health struggles need. 

 

Phoenix is thrilled to have the opportunity to turn his most passionate areas into meaningful differences in the community. Working alongside his best friend and partner Kyle McEachern is unimaginably fulfilling and proves that connection and compassion holds strength. He will move forward with objective and dedication to honour the work of his amazing team and cast. The Fifth Wall is more than a company to him, it is a team.
